You · ENIt picks up your Mac’s audio in real time: Zoom, Meet, YouTube, a podcast, anything that’s playing.
The caption appears over the app, already translated. Invisible in screen share, so only you see it.
Designed to stay out of the way: fast, private, and it works over any app.
English Zoom calls, Spanish classes, Japanese YouTube. The translated caption floats over any app, in real time.
Games, manga, PDFs, apps with no translation. Hit ⌥⌘T, snip it, and the translation shows up right beside it. No copy-paste.
Leave a meeting, class or video running (even in your own language), then ask for a summary or follow-up questions in History. Pro
Share your screen on Zoom, Meet or Teams: the caption disappears for everyone else. You keep seeing it.
On Free, audio and translation run on your Mac. No internet? No problem. Zero logs.
Put the caption wherever you want; clicks pass through to the app below. Lyron remembers the spot.
Lyron understands 99+ spoken languages and translates to 24. It auto-detects the source, so you don’t even have to pick.
On Free, the audio never even touches the internet. We don’t see what you say — we couldn’t if we tried.
On Free, capture and translation happen 100% on your Mac. No network, no logs.
On Pro, only the transcribed text (never the audio) goes through our edge proxy. And we don’t keep content.
The app has zero telemetry. We don’t see what you translate. Period.

Anyone who ends up on a call in a language they don’t fully speak: a global team, a foreign client, an online class. And anyone consuming untranslated media, like JRPG gamers, manga readers, or people watching a talk or video in another language.
A notetaker (like Otter) hands you the summary once the meeting is over, too late to reply in the moment. Lyron captions while the person is speaking, so you follow and take part in real time. And it still keeps the history so you can summarize later if you want.
On macOS we use the setContentProtection API, which removes the window from Zoom, Meet and Teams captures. The other side of the call sees nothing of the overlay, not even in the recording.
Never on Free: everything runs on your Mac. On Pro, you optionally send the transcribed text (never the audio) to Lyron Cloud through our proxy. We don’t keep content.
Lyron understands 99+ spoken languages and translates to 24, auto-detecting the source. It works over any app: Zoom, Meet, YouTube, Netflix, games (Steam, emulators), manga and PDF readers. For text on screen, just snip with ⌥⌘T.
It’s Lyron’s second mode, for text that’s on the screen rather than in the audio. Hit ⌥⌘T, drag a rectangle over anything (game dialogue, a manga bubble, a PDF paragraph, an app menu) and the translation appears in a card beside it, no copy-paste. You can lock the region and repeat it in the same spot with a shortcut.
Everything Lyron translates, from audio and from Vision, is saved locally in a History, organized by session and searchable. On Pro, you ask for a session summary in one click, or ask questions about the conversation (like "what did we decide?"). It even works with audio in your own language: record a lecture and summarize it later.
Free runs 100% local (Whisper + built-in translator) with 20 Vision captures a month. Pro adds Lyron Cloud (premium translation, no setup), unlimited Vision, unlimited History with AI recap, and early access to new features.

No. Lyron runs only on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer). Whisper and the local translator rely on the Apple chip’s acceleration.
